Pin is misleading (the parking area with dumpsters of a restaurant / B&B a little higher up the mountain that you have to sit down and have a drink or meal to really enjoy the view), go 1.5 miles down the mountain and you'll see a pull-off with what's probably the correct lookout. Would have been 5 stars if lookout had seating, garbage can and a sign and diagram explaining what you're looking at.
The spot marked "5 state view" is overflow parking for Captains Inn Restaurant and the location of dumpsters. The "view" from there is terrible. The next best view is from the Captains Inn . For free view
